Can anyone tell me if the recess for the rear cam chain guide pivot shaft (item 13 in the pic below) is machined into the bottom of the cylinder block or into the top of the crankcases?
Can´t really tell from the diagrams on Kawasaki.com - trying to sort out compatibility issues with 650 to 750/810 conversions and single roller/multiplate cam chain setups.

Can't remember for sure but from the diagram, it looks like the pin sets in the case and the block holds the rubber pillow blocks down.
