Not sure how to describe this best, but the problem I am having is that to down shift, you sometimes have to push down twice to get the shift drum to catch. Not on all gears either, seems like from 5th to 4th and 4th to 3rd. Not exactly sure, as the bike is coming apart right now for a lot of re-build work, so I cant ride it now.
Would this be shifter pawls or the drum? or will I need to go deeper and split the case?
(I am hoping to do only a top end this winter)
