anyone know realisticly how much more power i could pull from getting stotted cam sprockets and getting them dialed in?? Or would i be better off just geting some hotter cams...Would rather stick with stock at the moment since most of my cash will be going for an 1105 kit..

any time you degree the cams in you are going to get better perforance, stock or not, you will be surprised how far off the cams are.

It depends on several factors. First would be the condition of the "hard" pieces you now have. Second would be where your cams are before degreeing and third would be where you want the power to be from the degreeing process. By the way if you are using stock liners in a 1000 block go 1075 not 1105. Stock liners are too thin "excuse me" over 72mm. It would be asking for trouble. 1075 is as the big as you should try to go in a stock 1000 liner.

Unless your cam chain is stretched, you probably won't see much difference in degreeing stock cams. Similarly, you won't be nearly as impressed with your 1075 bore job as you would be if you bought even some mild, drop in cams. Even with a bone stock head [in good working order], the addition of a cam to the equation really wakes up the KZ motor.

What happens when you bore a motor 2mm over? You create greater piston demand for CFM. To meet that increased demand, the first thing you look to is the cams.

Sure the big bore will be better than the stock bore but it's rather like a cake without icing...;)

I second that. Do a 1075, not an 1105.
