750 Twin Question /exhaust was created by Shoe48
What are you guys running for exhaust , I would like a little more rubble but NOT loud .. I see the two into two By Mac on ebay all the time , I have had these exhaust systems before I like the looks of it , Is this all that is out there ? I really like the sound of two pipes so two into one is not what I would really want .. anyone ever remove just a couple baffles from a stock exhaust ? Thanks Shoeman:unsure:

What I want is two Dunstall Decibel Replica mufflers on stock headpipes, I have heard that they are a liitle loud but have a good tone. I think AllanB in NZ has a set on his 82 KZ750M (you ought to check out his bike anyway, it's sharp).
His bike is not in the gallery, but Here is his thread about the exhaust.

I can't find any pics of his bike in the archives either
Send him a PM (AllanB) and ask if he will post some pics.

I'm also a two-into-two guy, think I will always be. I currently have Jardines (classic style) on one, stock on another, and Mac on another. I like the Jardines the best. I have another set waiting on the shelf... I got them used on eBay...What are you guys running for exhaust...

On my 82 750 Twin, I think I still have the stock exhaust. It's old and the baffles are blown out of it. But when I take off, run the engine in the low RPMs, and cruise in a higher hear at low speeds, it sounds great. I took off the other day and my brother told me later that I sounded somewhat like a harley. But as soon as I get up to speed and the RPMs are high, it doesn't sound like that anymore.

$100 at Dennis Kirk with free shipping.
I have a can of POR-15 high temp aluminum paint I have been saving to do the pipes, have to get them sandblasted first though. I'd better get it done soon or it will be to cold to paint them
Someone else on the board used the same paint and it looks pretty good (much better than rusty pipes anyway).

I replaced my mufflers with glasspacs from advance auto, these are the smallest they sell they have a 1.75 in/out and are 17in lenth, they came red(cherry bombs) but painted them black sound great, cost 19.95 each, added a turnout and welded on a bracket, these sound super and are small and compact(pic in the 750 twin section)
