1000 engine in a 750 frame? was created by lunchbox
just out of curiousity, how much work would that involve? i have an opprutunity to pick up a cheap kz750, and wouldn't mind a nice winter project for kicks.

i dont know about 750 twin,but i would think a 750 4 should be doable.;)

750 frame is pretty much the same as the 650 frame, and several 650's have had 1000 motors installed in them.

Here´s one of the sweetest builds ever on KZR, Messenger1´s 1105 in a 750 frame. Don´t know if he´s still around, he hasn´t posted on the new site, but try shooting him a u2u for details.

Here´s another with some more details (2nd link), Zmans beautiful 1000 in a 650 frame - as Steell says the 650/750 frames are pretty much identical (750 four mind you, twins are a different matter).
