Guy wants to hot rod up his 750 twin, a 1982, and I was wondering if they have an 800 kit, and if they do, what is the most reasonable, streetable HP figure I could count on? What price for key parts?

No overbore kits that I'm aware of (other than stock 1mm oversize pistons).
You can send the cams off to have them reground, but other than that you are on your own.
I have heard of a guy that used to roadrace a 750 twin, word is he managed to get 90 hp out of it before he started wiping out bottom ends.

Reasonable to me is able to run tank after tank of fuel with no problems, no blowing up. I didn't say overheat, because overheating up here is not the problem you have down there, with our mild temps.
11-1 compression is not unreasonable up here. Though I don't want silly cams in it, or impossible to start carb set ups either/ I would be very happy with 80hp

In the old board SmithGPZ had a 750 he bored larger. I'm not sure what size he made it to though. It's the same bike he put a suzuki swing arm on. Have to look through the archive.

Smithgpz's 750 twin had either a .020" or .040" over bore, I forget which, and it also had aftermarket Mikuni carbs and Works shocks
IIRC, JE Pistons will custom make any piston you like, not cheap though

I conversed with a guy on a german site, he told me about putting an exhaust cam on the intake side he says it will give about 65hp, to me this would be about as far as I would go besides a bit of porting and carb work, I plan on a rebuild this winter and have just about all the parts including a new exhaust cam, I would say the twin is a cruisin bike not really made to race although I can pull the front wheel quite easily but the geometry on mine has been altered a bit,I have a couple other bikes for the crazy stuff and the twin is for just riding
