Yo Jay! and anyone else with insight/experience.
What are tradeoffs between going with the camshaft setups discussed in the recent 'another cam question' thread or switching to a late model 'J' or GS1000 head with stock cams, stock valves and some stronger springs to allow higher rev. capability with the stock shim over buckets? Will use J pistons too.
Also, how close to the top of the sleeves can the stock 'J' police pistons be run and how much compression can be gained?
The GS1000 camshafts have 30T sprockets.
Are 30T sprockets available for the stock 'J' camshafts? Did not see them on the APE site.
