I'm looking for specific info regarding emissions testing on older bikes in the state of Arizona. If you own a classic era KZ and live in Az let me know if this is reqd and if so, what type of test you had to do. thanks

thanks for the great link...looks like no emissions testing(bikes) if you're in Tucson area, but you have to in Phx. any locals verify this??

I live in Phoenix. Yeah you have to get emissions. I think it's like $20.00 . I don't remember exactly what they do, I just remember I had just got my new Vance and Hines pipe, it was in the middle of summer with no circulating air, I had to rev my engine for a while and watch my pipes discolor. Haaaaa. Good luck.

It's been a long time since I lived in Phoenix (Tempe, actually), but I had a KZ650 that failed the emissions test. I was able to get a waiver because I claimed that it would cost more to fix the bike than it was worth. Something like that. But like I said, that was maybe 15 years ago.
