1979 kz 650sr back fireing was created by hawkp32
my kz650 is back fireing at low speeds and seems that the right side of the motor gets warmer than the left. now thats just me feeling around the motor. the left side pipe is the only one back fireing. any one have any suggestions. i just bought the bike today, dont no much about it. thanks for your time hawk

Welcome, I recommend you buy a service manual or Clymers for your bike and perform the tune up procedures in the order listed. In addition, replace the carb holders (intake manifolds) and clean/lube the mechanical timing advance. Once you have done this, your quesitons will get more specific and you will get finer tuned answers, I am sure. Good luck.
