I just turned over 30K last weekend (20K put on myself) and it still runs strong.

I dont know how many on the bike I was riding. I think it was around 15,000. The 550 that I picked up today shows 53,000 on the odometer. I wasnt going to try to get this one going, but it doesnt feel like it has any compression in it and the speedo cable ws missing so who knows

You can see mine in my signature. I plan on the one bike turning over 100,000 miles in a few months, depending upon the weather. It runs fast and strong, with only a small oil seep. I can get it over 100 MPH (based upon the tach, since my speedo only goes to 85) anytime I want.

1978 KZ650 B2 has 15,000 miles.
Bought at 8640 miles, put 6000+ on since last August. Probably has more miles on it, it didn't come with a speedo cable.

This mileage post has me wondering, do you guys with older low mileage bikes have some other machine to ride?
Get out those old bikes and ride them!

Was up at the Shelby NC hamfest Fri and Sat. Buch of guys swapping old radios and BS. Saw a mid 80/s BMW K series with a popup camper. Went over to talk to the owner. SHowed me the odometer. 379,000 miles! He's been putting over 30 k miles a year on since 1995. He and wife have traveled USA, Canada, Mexico, and Central America. Original brake rotors on front felt a bit thin. 2nd coat of paint. Aftermarket stainless exhaust that's been on for most of the miles. Sounded great. Loose but not too loose.
