can anyone give me a cross reference of what headers will fit an 81 kz750e without too much mods? i know the kz650 will fit, but what about some of the newer ninjas and other cycle brands like suzuki and what not. i want to go 4 into 1, and most of the systems i've seen cost more than my bike. if anyone has something, i'd be more than happy to take it off their hands, or trade a stock set up. thanks in advance!

OK, here's my trick on something like this. I go to denniskirk.com, and I find the part that fits my bike. On the page that desribes the part, there will be a tab marked [fitment]. If you click this you will find out what other bikes it fits! (clever, huh?) For instance, when I look up the Mac exhaust that fits your '81 kz750e, I get this crossreference:
* Kawasaki - KZ650B 1977
* Kawasaki - KZ650B 1978
* Kawasaki - KZ650B 1979
* Kawasaki - KZ650C Custom 1977
* Kawasaki - KZ650C Custom 1978
* Kawasaki - KZ650C Custom 1979
* Kawasaki - KZ650D SR 1978
* Kawasaki - KZ650D SR 1979
* Kawasaki - KZ650E Ltd 1980
* Kawasaki - KZ650F 1980
* Kawasaki - KZ700A 1984
* Kawasaki - KZ750E 1980
* Kawasaki - KZ750E 1981
* Kawasaki - KZ750E 1982
* Kawasaki - KZ750F Ltd 1983
* Kawasaki - KZ750H Ltd 1980
* Kawasaki - KZ750H Ltd 1981
* Kawasaki - KZ750H Ltd 1982
* Kawasaki - KZ750H Ltd 1983
* Kawasaki - KZ750N Spectre 1982
* Kawasaki - KZ750N Spectre 1983
* Kawasaki - KZ750R GPz 1982
* Kawasaki - ZX750A GPz 1983
* Kawasaki - ZX750A GPz 1984
* Kawasaki - ZX750A GPz 1985
Now, I'm guessing that this is a pretty exhaustive (pun, pun!!!) list of bikes that interchange, since Mac will make more money with one system that fits as many bikes as possible over several systems that are so specialized in their fit that they only fit a few.
Hope this helps.
