Which is a more popular motor, 400 or 440?

...and will a 440 fit in a 400 frame?

I've got a KZ400 frame and I'm thinking about throwing in a motor. Which one is easier to find parts for or easier to find in general. If it's the 440, will it fit into the 400's frame?
