exhaust baffles was created by andyman236
I was wondering if anyone knows any pros or cons about removing the exhaust baffles from my 1980 kz750 twin. I am looking to gain a little meaner of a sound but dont want to hurt performance by losing back pressure or anything. any info would be appreciated.

it's just me, but I would suggest trying to find an aftermarket header (do they even make one for a twin?).

Going off my past experience trying to find stock pipes for a restore, they are very hard to find and expensive when you do find them.

If your pipes are in decent shape, you might consider storing them for a few years and then selling them later.

If you mess with the baffles, that will lower the price later on.

just my opinion:)
