Has anyone ever messed with an electric supercharger? Or at least know or have an opinion about them, no nitro though. Got a friend had this thing on his VW, said there was a noticable difference without any damage (stock engine). Said he'd sell it to me cheap, thought I'd rig it to an air box in place of my pods. Sounds kinda kewl, only if my alt/battery has enough juice to run it.
Any thoughts on it? thanks

i got a ebay one sitting in my shop a friend gave me.. just got the hell of i put in on my 95 integra(back when she was stock) just made my car run hotter and slower

I'vs wondered if the turbo setup from a GPz750 Turbo could be adapted to other models, or maybe just some of parts could be used to make a home built system.

Works very well on a GPz1100

The only electric supercharger that actualy puts out
enough boost also draws 4 times the amps that a KZ1000
alternator can put out.Magnuson and Drouin both made
bolt on supercharger kits for KZ1000s back in the day.
I would try to locate one if you want to supercharge
a KZ.

I am interested in a blower or turbo. I dont have the bike yet but soon coming. So I am learning with you. May be we can keep each other informed on info found. I wouldn't mind trying to make my own EFI system.

Hey tjettim:
This what you mean? I like it. Notice the built in injector!

If I ever finish the time machine, maynbe I'll go back and buy one. Anyone got some old sovereigns gathering dust?

Speaking of the time machine. I've been scouting a site for construction. Found one. Waiting to hear back from seller on price. Has a rail siding so easy to get those big pieces of govt. surplus delivered. Enough room for a 500m RAIL gun too. Might be enough to get a quarter KG into orbit with chemical 2nd stage boost.
