Canister Opinions

I am ready to finish out the exhaust on the KZ project and torn between using my old style Kerker canister  or something rounder and more upswept. There are some photos in my 78 KZ Project thread if needed for reference. Opinions/suggestions appreciated 👍

My ‘79 Kz650 uses a MAC header with a Danmoto round canister.

Here’s my ‘78 Kz1000. Again a MAC header and a different style Danmoto muffler.

My personal opinion for a KZ would be a Kerker style megaphone

I met with a shop today and we are going with the Kerker that I have. They are going to do that and extend my upper rear shock mounts, cut of the rear footpeg mounts and fab a 3D chain guard. After that I will be down to torquing everything to specs and doing shakedowns. Yes, I am farming some of this build out but I didn't want to keep my brother on the hook for more fab work as he has done plenty. I'm excited and it is coming to a conclusion!
