Engine fitting

Whats the easiest way to fit my engine back in the frame ,i was thinking of lying it on its side on some blocks and fitting the frame over it and bolting it in .what do you do ?

laying the frame over the engine is the most common method when fitting in a mostly bare frame.

You just take the engine and place it in the frame, and with your other hand, insert the fasteners while sipping a beer through a straw.



More seriously, some friends lay the engine on its side and then place the frame on top. Once it's secured, you just straighten the whole thing.

I always install the center stand before setting the frame over the motor. Then after you stand it up you just need something to prop up the front of the frame and you're set.
