These are round wire clips that don’t have holes for circling pliers. There is a cut.out in the piston so you can release the clip with a pick or small screw driver

Those circlip installation tools /circlip injectors such as the X-Grip etc pre compress the circlip to the size of the hole in the piston which takes the gudgeon pin so the size of tool you need will be the same size as that hole and the gudgeon pin.
Depending on your model this will be either 17mm or 18mm.

Measure the hole in the piston.
It will be either 17mm or 18mm depending on whether your motor is J based or 83-85 GPZ1100 based and that is the size tool you need.
It will very likely be 17mm given that i now notice your bike is an 82 model..

82 KZ1100 piston pins are 17mm.

Just installed eight Wiseco piston 18mm circlips squeezed between my thumb and forefinger.  It's pretty simple once you get the hang of it.

I know the tool you are talking about but to be honest (only my opinion) $100 for it unless you are a shop building motors day in and day out is an expensive luxury. I have never used such a device and have built many motors without issue. I guess it’s a matter of choice

Same.  Never used snap ring pliers for piston circlips, even though I have several different sets.

Okay what I did is I went got me a caliper and I measured the wrist pin 17 mm exactly so I got to see what I need which one I need and the reason I'm buying this is because I had to try to get some help to put the bore on top of the Pistons but the guy that I had helped me forced men and luckily I took it at the board back off because one of the damn Rings were bent and that would have damaged the cylinder so I did them all over and this time I place the Pistons inside the board and with a ratchet strap I got it holding just above to where I can place them in but I can't get my fingers in to put it in the clips so once I do that I'll set the set it down put the outer ones in and I'll be good but it would be nice if they had Clips where you can use the damn pliers on them I was looking at them but I was debating not to use them because I was figuring they might be too thin they might wobble and then my shake and I might get engine vibration and noise and I could ruin the engine so I'm going to go with this thank you guys anyway
