What’s in my oil pan?

I dropped the oil pan to do the gasket and found some treasure in there.

First treasure is a mangled metal ring.

Second treasure is hard red bits that have broken off of something.

Treasure number three is paint flakes sucked up into the oil pump strainer, I’m assuming because Kawasaki painted the inside of the Spectre oil pan that sweet ass gold color just like the outside.

Does anyone recognize the ring and orange pieces? 1982 1100 Spectre

The red pieces are epoxy from your alternator rotor

That metal piece resembles a rotor damping rubber/spacer. Flip it over and send another photo.

Here's the damper but don't know if that is your metal bit? Would be hard pressed to get that thru the galley to the oil pan. It's some sort of seal though. If a bearing piece the metal would of shattered. Might explain your leaking issues for sure!! I'm not too familiar with shaft drive models but would think all the seals are external, perhaps not?? It's not a piece from the engine, crankshaft/pistons or camchain/tensioner sector nor any transmission cluster.
