Teflon buttons vs circlips for piston wrist pins?

At the risk of starting a "which oil is best" type thread: which is better suited to a 10.25:1 KZ1000 street motor - teflon buttons or circlips for the piston wrist pins?

It may start a furball But I run buttons
Clips are fine as well , just make sure they are installed properly
Buttons cant pop out ,  Normally in hypo motors
Buttons can be a plastic type material or aluminum
Have seen buttons melt , but that was in a melted piston dome engine

I have used both on drag and street engines but I prefer buttons.

I recently made some (teflon) for my 1200 street engine, and will probably make some more the next time I tear into a 650 engine.

On the newer "lite weight" pistons you can't even use buttons, they run those Spirolox retaining rings.

I have a motor opened up right now and I was just considering this - I have brand new Wiseco pistons in with only a few runs on them, but I was considering buttons with us pushing the RPMS a bit higher than I normally would.

Very interested some opinions on this -

Buttons are the way to go on performance builds, easier to take apart and reinstall than cir clips especially on anything race orientated. Just make sure you have a small pick tool in your tool box to remove them.

This has aluminum buttons, notice the notch in the liner. That piston head combo is giving +16:1 comp.
