timing chain tensioner

I have kz1000p 88r and I have a timing chain tensioner, is it original or a replacement and for what? In the catalog, it is different?

Interesting. Surely that is the same tensioner used on that whole engine family. If it has the same reach and tension as the KZ tensioner, it would make a nice upgrade.

I think I have one of each laying around the gayraj. Will have to make a little experiment....
