I have a 79 KZ1000 and have noticed I have a loud ticking under my most forward right valve cover. How hard is it to do a valve adjustment, or do I have other issues. My local dealer is a 3-4wk wait. I have ridden this bike once this summer ug.

It is easier to say what I haven't replaced then what I have.
