Piston Ring Gap Orientation

Both Wiseco and MTC provide the illustration shown above with their piston kits.

I'm confused how either correctly describes ring gap orientationan for my inline four cylinder motorcycle application.

What am I missing?

Basically they are saying is the end gaps of the three rings should at least start 120 degrees apart and the component parts of the oil ring should also be spaced 120 degrees apart (initially) this applies on each cylinder regardless of cylinder configuration

Looks to me like the compression ring gaps are 180 degrees apart, while the various parts of the oil control ring are 120 degrees from each other, starting with the expander which is 90 degrees from the compression ring gaps.

Oh, and the wrist pin should be parallel to the centerline of the frame

Oh, and the wrist pin should be parallel to the centerline of the frame   Does that mean I need to rotate my engine 90 degrees ? Lol :):)

I think it would be better to leave the engine as is, and rotate the frame......
