Hey y'all, so I finally got the petcock off and got a closer look. Why is there a hole in the petcock itself where gas is coming through? I suppose it's the gasket gone wrong but there's a perfect hole built in where it's leaking. Any thoughts? Cheers

Looks like the diaphragm is oriented improperly. Rotating it 180 degrees should solve the problem.

What hole?   If the diaphragm is old, it may need replacing. Genuine Kawasaki is preferable and may still be available.

That's an HNBR oring, more suited for refrigeration. But "maybe" it came with it as an aftermarket petcock?

The hole I mentioned is circled in red, and is presently lined up with the diaphragm vent marked with the goofy arrow, hence the gushing fuel.

I think if the diaphragm is rotated 180 degrees, the hole will line up with the Prime passage and the leaking will stop.

Never saw a green oring in one, though.
