I could use some thoughts and ideas on an issue I am having. With the stater cover off, I can kick the engine and the crankshaft will turn. But with the cover on, the kick will not turn the crankshaft. No evidence of damage to the cover. Possibly something too tight between generator rotor and magneto? Possibly something reassembled incorrectly? Other ideas before I take it all back apart again?
