Hey guys, its my second post on this forum, im still restoring my kz1000 so i cant post any pic of it yet...
But wanted to ask for some help with the tacho gear.
My bike came without it, and since im in argentina... buying it from  ebay isnt an option.
To the grain, if anyone can hel me with the following measures i will be gratefull.
I need lenght and diameter for the A, B, C, and D parts, also number of teeth.
Any other measure you can take is welcome by eg. teeth height (adenum), tooth width, depth of the teeth, teeth offset between the two ends, etc.
Btw it looks like the adenum its just c heigt - d height.

So i can replicate it on a lathe.
Thanks in advance.

They can be purchased. But not sure what your resources are down there. Retro on eBay may be able to ship to you. Wouldn't that gear be hard to duplicate oil a lath. It has a slight curve to it. It's a worm gear.

Hey, thanks for the answer..

Btw resources are not a problem, the problem is our customs  in Argentina( "aduana" in spanish) who love to lose things, even more... small things, or directly doesnt deliver it at all to his owner.

Let me get hold of a mate of mine who lives in Argentina. He has access to a huge stock of NOS kawasaki parts located within your borders.
I will need to advise him the exact part number of how it would have been supplied by Kawasaki (possibly the whole unit) as a spare part in the 70's so he can check his parts list inventory.

It looks to be 13223-011 and seems to be used on all mechanical drive tacho models.

Z1000J2 somewhat modified!
