Hi all thought id share this little short cut to the awkward job of clutch actuator lubrication. Instead of spending hours removing the mexhanism with the subsequent hassle that entails, simply lean the bike against a wall on the brake lever side, as far as it will safely go so its at an angle, then remove the two acrews on the cover above the gear shift to reveal the clutch adjuster nutĀ  now simply squirt in chain lube while pulling the clutch lever in and out. The grease can be seen disappearing happily into the workings finding its way through the magic of gravity. Put some ordinary grease around the circlip and put the cover plate on. Pull the bike carefully off the wall remember to put the side stand down first or it lands on the floor! Now the purists and folk who enjoy spending all afternoon taking things apart then just maybe getting them together again will argue that this method wont be as thorough as a full strip and greasing, but its a load easier. Thanks for reading and hipe someone may find this useful.
