New double-row bearing arrived

Dunno why the old bearing failed, but it certainly did. Shattered both cases, and I didn’t even drop it or squeeze it.

Anyway, new double-row bearing arrived in mail. Nice Koyo, made in Japan. In it goes, on the clutch shaft.

A funny thing about the broken bearing is that it fulfilled other needs. I had somehow lost the little 3/8” ball that goes between the clutch rod and its mushroom end. Turns out the broken bearing was just filled with good quality 3/8” bearing balls! So now, in goes one of them too.
