Hello everyone.

I have a question, is it possible to use a kz 1000 Shaft crankshaft in a kz1000 A1 and upgrade the alternator at the same time?

The 1980 ST ( with kickstart ) crank ( same as MK2 and B model LTD's ) will fit the 1000 A1 with some slight mods
The crank sprocket has an extra tooth (16) so you will need the matching ST/MK2 cam sprockets (32t) and the longer 124 link camchain .
You will also need to use the ST/MK2 alternator cover to accomodate the later alternator.
