What is the thread size lof the tacho drive cable at the engine of a KZ 750 b 1978  side mine is broke and want to cap it off to get the bike going

If the tach drive is still there you shouldn't need a cap.

If the drive is not there then take the threaded collar off the cable, cut a disc that fits inside it with a bit of sealer on it, then just screw it on were the drive was.
Don't need to know what the thread size is then because it already fits.

I have another complete drive gear and aluminium body with the oring and seal in it but the old one is jammed in. just wanted to know the plug size as I'm still getting the motor sorted.
Thanks for the tip anyway, might give it a go.
