Struggles to start

I have been having hell with my 1982 kawasaki  kz750e four going on 2 years now. I have replaced just about everything on it and I was able to ride it up and down the road for a short while until it just stopped running. I checked my timing  and valve lash here recently and everything is spot on now and I can get it to crank finally but it immediately dies. It struggles to fire up but it even though it won't stay at an idle at all. I need to get a oil pan, and valve cover gasket I know for sure but that could be causing it to sun would it?

Having you tried running it with the gas cap open (a blocked vent would cause a vacum the tank and stop fuel coming out) the gaskets you have mentioned won't give these problems

Hey wookie I got it running again. I put new gaskets on it, went through and cleaned the carbs again and she fired up. Now the issue is that I'm out of gas lol just my luck....
