Anyone using a Delkavic header on their kz650 /750?

Does the collector center down the middle of the oil pan or offset to clear the drain plug
Pics from Delkavic show the 650
With a nice tight fit to the oil pan but the 750 show a much bigger gapIs this the case ?

Would like to hear from anyone using it for the 650 or 750

I have a complete Delkevic system on my750E1. It's offset. Lots of clearance for the drain plug and for the oil filter with oil cooler connections. Somebody also mentioned a gap. Not much of one in my opinion.

Here's a KZR topic w pics showing the clearance on 70s KZ650 (rstnick).

These photos show quite a bit of a gap.  That's a pet peeve of mine.  I've got a NOS Supertrapp header for my 750, but decided not to run it because of the engine to header gap.  It's going to waste...

Some better pictures of a Delkevic exhaust on my kz650.

Gaps? I cannot see any while I'm riding
The sound is great.

Oil and filter changes are no problem, leaving the exhaust in place, unlike the Yosh exhaust that came with the bike.

No problem to drain and replace oil filter on mine either, but some oil will come on the exhaust when I take out the filter.

I love mine, it does hang a tad lower than original however the weight savings between the two is extreme. The sound is very nice and moderate. I’m not sure I would pay a new price for one but it is worth it if you have the spare change lying around.
