I use ngk bpe8s, the tip is about 1mm longer, they work great in mine, I also never buy off of ebay as there are way too many fakes out there.

My personal opinion is that unless you are running a high output/turbo motor there is no real benefit for the additional expense

I ran these in one bike for a while.  They worked fine.  Wound up removing them because I realized they are resistor plugs, and I already had resistor plug caps.  No need for two different resistor elements in the circuit (even though the bike didn't seem to care.)
