I’m looking for an undercut trans for my Z1R drag bike. Who has the fastest turn around time on a new one, or does anyone have a spare new one to sell? Need it fast!

Call Mike Law at Raceworks Canada, Marion St, Dorchester ON.

He may have one in stock (he needs a core in exchange)

What do you mean when you say undercut?  I have a close ratio tranny that I pulled from a Z1.  It's in good shape.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

What do you mean when you say undercut?  I have a close ratio tranny that I pulled from a Z1.  It's in good shape.
The dogs on the gears get a 5 degree single side undercut to stay engage under hard acceleration (Drag race) or both sides for racing (acceleration and deceleration).

    You might have to call a few times to get him in.

    I bought one off him 3 years ago and at that time he had 3 left in stock.

    Mike has been my go to guy on KZ motor work for over 25 years.
    He does it all, cylinder head work, cranks, transmissions, boring. He also works on Yamaha/Suzuki as well as the newer water cooled Kawi motors.

    Paul Gast @ FBG on Grand Island, NY near Niagara Falls has and still does trannies in house, He's been doing them since day 1.
    Excellent cylinder work also, His guys have worked with him for years!
