oil leak '76 kz750 b4 was created by Hoteiharrah
I recently snapped a clutch cable on my kz750b4 76 (it was fun to learn clutchless shifting to get my bike across town.
I replaced the clutch cable but now I have an oil leak that seems to come from down in there where the clutch push rod is.
Can anybody tell me how I accidentally caused this leak and how I can fix it potentially?

You may have disturbed that ancient pushrod seal. It is number 11 in the diagram.

Even if it is in place, it may be hard as a rock, or some barnacle on the pushrod may have torn it.

By the way, it seems to me that the only people who try to resurrect old motorcycles are people who hate money.

It makes a lot of sense to me about the money thing, but you also gotta realize! This bike runs already. I've had it 3 months. The difficulty now is to keep it going full strength. This thing is my daily driver!
