Kz1000 K2 shorter clutch cable was created by OkieZ1000
Greetings,
I'm looking for some information on possible alternative clutch cables that would fit my 82 K2.
I've got flatter bars than stock and would like to shorten up the clutch cable so it's not sticking up above the guages.
The stock one appears to be 58.5 inches end to end and I'm looking for something in the 55 inch range.
Anyone have any info on swapped cables that might work?
Any info is appreciated
Thanks
Scott

Euro bikes have lower bars with shorter cables.

I wonder if a cable from a 1000J or 1000P would be short enough?
I suppose you could call a supplier and ask. Motion Pro also makes custom length cables.

Update for anyone else looking.
I found this part from Dennis Kirk (here in the US).
It fit perfectly for what I needed and was not expensive. (It's ~3.5 inches shorter with the same cable travel as stock).
