Did the 1979 kz650b come with vacuum advance? was created by Missile2511
I bought this 1979 KZ650 b3 2 months ago as a project bike. It does not have any vacuum advance and I am wondering if that is the standard or has it been modified?

No!  it does not have vacuum advance.
It has a mechanical advancer driven by the crank behind the right hand ignition cover.
