GPZ550 Heads and Cams Question

#860645
Good folks,

I have searched the forums but could not find a definitive answer to the differences in the GPZ550 heads and cams for the different years.  I'm trying to
determine the cams profiles and head valve sizes for each of the years from 81 > 86.   What I found on the net was suspect.

I know there was a list somebody put together a while back, but the links are dead now.  Also there was GPZ550.com site, its dead too.

I know Corey knows a bunch, and some other smart folks too.

Thanks
Jason-

So follow up on my on post...has anybody applied the full tilt mods to the 550 engine with real dyno results?  I am curious to see what a .410 lift, 12:1 Compression, 615cc kit will produce in HP/Torque.

anybody???

I think stock on a 85 was 65hp but is that the crank or RW?

Its not a Wiseco Kit, search on Dynoman, he has a GPZ550 615cc kit that is 12:1CR. They are built to order and machined. He also can setup a set
of CR26mm carbs for the GPZ550 as well. I think he has some nice stuff, I've ordered a few things for my GPZ1100 with no issues.

Got my 84 cams in, defiantly can see the difference between the duration difference from the 81 cams.   Hopefully it will pep it up some.
