Camshaft chain guide question

The little plastic part of the “camshaft chain guide” that the “adjuster pushrod” presses onto fell off. Anybody know if I can glue this back on somehow and if so what kind of glue should I use? Thank you in advance to anyone who can help!

You should buy a new chain guide.
I have never found an adhesive i would trust enough to repair those.
In the long run the cost of a new guide is little compared to the damage a repair failure will cause.

Yes, risk is high, reward is low.
