Identifying engine KZ1000 was created by Bbenton2000
Hey all I just started this new project on this golf cart I bought with what I am told is the kz1000 “police model” engine. I have the serial number which is KZT00JE047913.

The issue I am having is identifying exactly what year bike this engine came off so that I can get exact wiring diagrams and engine specifications.

I have checked the cdinfo website which seems to be nearly a match to one of them, but not exactly. Any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome
Golfcart ?????And  no pictures of the   Kaw powered cart
We have a number of wiring diagrams available on the site , but you will only need  a basic motor ignition / coils,  and starter diagram

That’s has a kz1000 Mk2 engine in there, probably an Kz1000st, it would be easier to mount a differential that way but I think I see a standard sprocket cover so it also could be off a Z1 Classic..looks like way to much fun.
