I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Maybe a piece of a piston skirt? Whatever it is...you should do a complete teardown to find and fix the issue.

It would help if you put a coin or a ruler in the picture to give us an idea of the size of these things.
They look like soft metal but how soft? will a magnet pick them up?
If so, I think they may be the 3 dogs off this gear, I've never heard of this before, maybe one of our doctors have a better idea.

Any ideas yet? My brother has my kz manual so I don't have anything to look at. The best scenario would be something broke off the clutch basket but I doubt it.
