Hi all,

Just out of interest I thought I might list a few alternative parts/sources and bits of pieces I've fitted to my 84 GPZ1100 unitrack.

A lot of these solutions have come from the kind folks on this forum and other facebook groups which have helped immensely. And also my own trawling the internet.

Thought it might be useful for someone else with the same bike to have them all in the same location and also that the parts do work.

Front forks:
yssaustralia.com.au/road-spring-valves/31262-fork-springs-progressive
Firms up the front end with less dive

Fuel pump:
CADILLAC 1977-1978 Eldorado 425ci Eng Fuel Injected External Electric Fuel Pump
Thinner diameter but I wrapped some nitrile sheeting around it to fit more snuggly. Pump is about 15mm longer but you just move it along in the bracket.
Pump works really well.

Fuel Pressure Regulator:
Herko Fuel Pressure Regulator PR4052 For Volkswagen Renault Porsche 71-83 2.5bar
Same dimensions as OEM. Works well

Injectors:
Had them cleaned and serviced at a local Bosch fuel injection service centre (Australia).
www.unitedfuel.com.au
They replaced filter screens cleaned and serviced them and checked spray pattern. Also supplied and fitted new o rings, rubber packing rings and pintels.
Bike fires up on the touch of the button now and feels much crisper.

Throttle body vacuum balancing tool:
www.motohardware.com.au/Whites-TMD14K400...ment-Tool-Motorcycle
Used this tool for reaching the locknuts and adjuster screws

Fuel pump to filter rubber pipe:
Automotive Fuel Hose U Shaped Bend 10mm I.D. 540mm Length - PCHUB10
To replace the b%$^ard little OEM shaped pipe that is no longer available. The inner diameter should hopefully fit the fuel pump spigot and also the fuel filter if I crimp it tight enough. Will find out this weekend.

Exhaust:
KAWASAKI GPZ1100 Uni-Trak ZX1100A 83-85 4 INTO 1 MEGAPHONE STAINLESS EXHAUST
Easy to fit and sounds great.

Brocken off side panel tabs:
My brother 3D printed just the tabs which I will cut to length and glue onto the side panel back.

Fuel Filter:
SN20004 HIFI Fuel Filter - JCB, Perkins - 8mm Inlet Outlet - 32/92230, 130306132
Same dimensions as stock filter. Pricy but cheaper than OEM for us in Australia.

Air temp sensor:
Bosch Sensor Intake Air Temp 0 280 130 085
Longer than stock but can be made to fit.

Piston Kit:
1983-1984 Kawasaki GPZ1100 Wiseco Piston KitsKAW GPZ1100 83-84 ZX,LTD 1100
First size oversize to fit rebored cylinders

Battery:
Motobatt AGM Battery Kawasaki GPZ1100 UNI TRACK (ZX1100) 1983-1985
Still going strong after 2 years

450Pcs Aluminium  Flat Washer Sealing Ring Washers Assortment Tools Set 18 Sizes
Handy little kit

Fuel Tank return valve:
www.zed-parts.com/product-page/16130-1002-valve-dfi
Same as OEM. Works well.

Ballistic Performance Ignition Coils
Kawasaki Z900 Z1000 GPZ1100 GSX1100 CB750 Dyna Style Coils 3.0 OHM Green
Work well on the bike. Just had to attach L-shape brackets to fit to the frame.

Fairing rubber edging trim:
Got some from an auto parts store - much cheaper than the hard to find OEM stuff.

New River Salvage LLC
Master cylinder site glass replacement kit

Some of the links above may not be still active, but searching the titles should bring up the parts.

A few parts sources that have been really good (bear in mind I'm based in Western Australia so ordering most things online takes ages to arrive):

samotorcycles.com.au much faster for us in western australia than ordering from eastern states or overseas
csmnl.com
partzilla.com
www.vintagekawasaki.com
www.zed-parts.com
ebay seller in germany: erparts for rubber chain guide and airbox rubber manifolds
gpzzone.com for anti-dive rebuild kit
www.z1enterprises.com for pattern intake boots
brakecrafters.com for master cylinder and caliper rebuild kits
cycleterminal.com for OEM style wire connectors and terminals

If I think of any more I'll add to the post.

Good to know about the fuel pump as that question has been in the back of my mind. On a foot note the Gpz750 fairing bracket and fairing will fit the 1100 with just a small bit of a modification. They tend to be cheaper and a bit easier to find.
