"New" engine startup - runaway revs was created by idmurp
Hi all
first ever engine build, be nice ;)

Kz1000p. Rebored +0.5mm. Dyna ignition and coils. Fully rebuilt
Starts on first push of the button.  At very very high rpm. No taco connected yet so can't say how high, but very high.

I dont have anything on the cam cover breathers
We noticed the butterfly were very slightly open when removing carbs, but only by a little, not fully open
it was like we had throttle fully open, it was not.
where else should we be looking?

Edit
all rubbers are new

Check and verify your throttle cable routing and slag is set correct. You need some play on the throttle handle.
