The rod was bent, not sure how it happened but it did. It was bent about .050" out of round so thank you for that great bit of advice. I'm ordering a new rod (if I can find one) and new clutch cable. after it backed off the adjusters the case cover seated as it should. Going on vacation so hopefully the parts will be here when I return, get them installed and be able to give you an update. Be well and stay safe. Jon

I don't believe there is a pusher ball on this bike. I'll have to check the diagram and see. Thank you

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI guess The Old Kaw Man doesn't have one anymore. Found this.

Thanks I need to realize the j model is way different than the Kz. Your correct nor ball in the J. Learned something.

No ball in the J engine. Pushrod shows in stock at Ron Ayers.
