I have a new to me 81 KZ440A LTD.  It's obviously been out for a number of decades, so there should be some known history of this bike.  What are some typical problems that KZ440s end up having over the years?  Thank you, all-knowing internet dwellers.  Haha.

You have an A model so you don't need to worry about finding drive belts (or converting to chain drive), which is good. Aside from the exhaust rust issues, the other thing that tends to go wrong is that the carb diaphragms (basically rubberized fabric) will perish. You can search the forum for a couple of recent conversations about finding replacements.

Thanks guys.  I guess with replacing my carbs and regular maintenance I should be good.  I'm thankful the valves are so easy to adjust on this machine.
