Well what a surprise. My son just dropped off the engine from his KZ1000J and told me I was going to fix the oil leak at the base gasket and head gasket. Aren't kids fun! Well the only problem I see is where to source the gaskets so it will actually stop seeping. I already plan to replace the studs with APE but finding a quality gasket set is eluding me.
Suggestions? Z1 is out of stock of OEM and no idea when they will have some. Also their web sight only lists one head gasket not the other?
Also spray the base gasket with copper coat yeah or nay? I've used Honda bond before with good results.
