Another Startup Diagnosis (Video)

Hey all, just hoping if I can get a few sets of eyes and ears  on this little video I made going over what I’m experiencing when starting up my bike. Mostly it’s all explained in the video so here’s the link:



Long and short of it I’m getting a clicking sound at startup and I’m just not sure what it means or what I should do about it. Thanks for your time everyone!

Sounds  more like your cam chain tensioner or the chain guides need some attention.

Typical Zephyr start up and choke lever fault, i would say valve lash needs doing along with tensioner, followed by carb balancing, they are a noisy motor, videos always make them sound worse than they are though.

Hydraulic cam chain tensioner? If so fix it ASAP.

Thank you all. I was suspecting that it might be a cam chain adjustment and that seems to be the number one culprit here. I will add that to my weekend to-do list along with valve adjustments and a carb balance and clean.
