Been riding the KZP some trying to put some miles on the new rings, etc. I've always thought the heel/toe shift linkage could use some tightening up. Has anyone tackled this? I think the majority of the slop is in the sleeve/bolt. I would love to replace with a bronze bushing but can't seem to find anything that will fit.
The bolt (#112) is new as is the sleeve (#42036).

I've fixed similar using a hardened shoulder bolt and reaming the shifter bore to match.

I wrapped some teflon tape around the bolt and lubed and tightened everything up. Took it for a ride and it is shifting much better. I'll go to a larger bolt (12mm) as a last resort. I have a slow starter issue to deal with and some cowl resonance at 2500 RPM.
Oh and the cop bike curse is still in effect.
