Hello. Has anyone had issues with the Motion Pro Flywheel Puller ? 1978 KZ650B2A. It does not fit my flywheel... It’s like it is 1mm too big around.

I used my rear axle bolt and a strap wrench and the flywheel came off no problems.

I think I should have posted this in the tools section. Sorry. Anyway, I looked at the flywheel a little closer and it is a M16 diameter. Um, why M16 ? Aren’t the 650’s supposed to take an M18 puller ? Weird

I also used the rear axle.
Threaded it in, and tapped gently on the end.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

They use different size threading for different years, so one size does not fit them all. It's been many a year ago since I removed one, but I seem to remember the center bolt below the handlebars that goes down in the triple clamp was the correct size if the motorcycle used the smaller threads, and as mentioned, the rear axle bolt otherwise.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
