KZ1000J Engine numbers

I have a KZ100J engine fitted in a KZ1000R frame.
The engine number is KZT00JE000094 - how do I trace the year in order to order spares.
The frame number is KZT00R005435 - believe the frame is 1981/1982
Cannot see any other number (eg VIN) if used as it it not a US model (it's in South Africa)

The frame number is the vin. There should also be a white sticker next to the stamped number. The sticker has the date of manufacture and such. Somebody may have removed or painted over the sticker. You can find the model year based on the frame number on he back cover of the factory service manual.

There is a website that lists the engine numbers, but I seem to be having a bit of a senior moment. Someone else with a better memory will be along shortly with that web address.

The engine could also be from an LTD (K), a CSR (M), or a police bike (P).

Have found the bike & frame is a 1983 model KZ1000R (ELR).
From other replies it looks like the engine is from a 1981 KJZ1000J
Waiting for confirmation from Kawasaki South Africa.
