The front sprocket part number is 13144-1318.
However, from my knowledge, this part is not available.
Is there any replacement available?
If not 17 tooth, I can adapt with changing the rear sprocket.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

I think all of the J engines use the same basic front sprocket, the only difference being tooth count. Based on a quick search, it looks like the 17 tooth sprocket was only used on the last few years of the police bikes. Most of the other J engined bikes, including earlier P bikes, seem to have used a 15 tooth sprocket. That one seems pretty easy to get.

Here is a list of the 15 tooth bikes.

Are you using that heavy 630 chain?
Might be a good time to swap over to a 530. I used a 18/42 gear combo.

Indeed, going to a 530 will open up many more choices that include all the modern advances that have been made in drive chains.

By change to model P21 in 2002, chain became 530.
And yes, I have chain pitch 530.
From 17/46 to 18/42 might be a little to long.
Anyway, what 18 tooth sprocket you used please?

I purchased the chain and sprockets from Z1. Give them a shout...

Be careful if using an aftermarket front sprocket. Lay it on a table and compare the off-set to the original.

I did this years ago and got a chain whine because the off-set was wrong throwing the chain out of line. A tech at a Kawi dealer said he's seen it many times, and you have to use OEM to keep the chain straight, Got one and never had a problem since.
